How Matlaro works
Three steps, from a recipe you found to dinner on the table.
01
Send it to Matlaro
Share a link from any recipe site, photograph a page from a book, or paste in text somebody sent you.
A recipe from a post or a message works the same way: share it or paste it in, and Matlaro keeps the recipe without the story around it.

02
It reads the recipe
The ingredients and the method land clean in your cookbook, ready to cook. Tag it, rate it, file it where you want.
Change the servings and every amount follows, so a recipe for four becomes a recipe for two without any maths.

Cook one step at a time
Big type, the ingredients for the step you are on, and timers already set from the words in the step.
When a step says how long, the timer is already there. Tap it and keep cooking; Matlaro tells you when it is done.

Simmer the sauce
Add the tomatoes and a pinch of salt, then let the sauce simmer for 15 minutes, stirring now and then.

Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start. Your recipes are kept on your phone.
Does Matlaro work offline?
Yes, for everything you have saved: recipes open, scale and cook without a connection. Saving a new recipe needs one, because the recipe has to be read first.
Which sites can I save from?
Any site you can share a link from. If a page has no recipe Matlaro can read, photograph it or paste the text instead.
Is Matlaro free?
You start for free, with no account needed.
